News is that he has sung a song for Thozha starring Nagarjuna, Karthi, and Tamannaah. Thozha is an intriguing script based on the emotions between two friends, one of whom is differently-abled.The movie is the remake of the French film The Intouchables and is a comedy.
Music director Gopi Sundar wanted a voice that could reflect the mood of the film and decided to rope in Anirudh for the song. 'Thozha en Uyir Thozha' is the song that Anirudh sings for the film and it looks like the filmmakers wanted a voice that could connect with the youth of today. The audio of the film will be launched on 26 February in Chennai.
The Telugu-Tamil bilingual is directed by P Vamsi. Thozha has been titled Oopiri in Telugu and the release date has been fixed for 25 March.
